Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an Automotive Technical Trainer to join their highly regarded team and help deliver technical training to technicians, workshops and automotive businesses across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to move beyond the workshop environment and play a key role in developing the next generation of automotive talent.
The Role You will deliver engaging and practical training across a broad range of automotive subjects including:
Diagnostics ? Hybrid & Electric Vehicles ADAS Systems Vehicle Electronics Emissions Technologies Chassis & Vehicle Systems You will work closely with technicians of varying experience levels, helping them understand complex vehicle systems and develop the skills needed to succeed in today's rapidly evolving automotive landscape. Additional responsibilities will include:
Delivering high-quality technical training programmes Supporting the development and enhancement of training content Assisting with the creation of practical exercises and assessments Ensuring training materials remain aligned with current legislation, emerging technologies and industry best practice Supporting technical demonstrations, open days and customer events Acting as a technical ambassador for the organisation and its training programmes Supporting the introduction of new technologies and product developments About You We are keen to speak with individuals who have a strong automotive technical background and a genuine passion for developing others.
You may already be working within automotive training or perhaps you're an experienced technician looking to take the next step in your career. Backgrounds that could be particularly relevant include: ? Diagnostic Technician ? Master Technician ? EV & Hybrid Specialist ? ADAS Specialist ? MOT Trainer or Assessor ? Technical Support Engineer ? Manufacturer Trainer ? Automotive Lecturer ?
Technical Coach You'll be someone who enjoys sharing knowledge, developing people and helping maintain the highest standards across the automotive sector. Skills & Experience To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
Strong automotive technical knowledge
Experience with modern vehicle diagnostics and test equipment Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong organisational and planning ability High levels of IT literacy The ability to engage confidently with technicians, workshop owners and senior stakeholders Experience creating training materials, assessments or online learning content would be highly advantageous.
