Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician to join a well-established independent MOT and Service Centre based in Warwick. The Vehicle Technician role offers a stable, full-time position with excellent career prospects. The successful Vehicle Technician will work in a modern, fully equipped workshop, servicing a variety of vehicle makes and models with a focus on high standards and customer satisfaction.

Salary up to £38,000 basic plus performance bonus
Monday to Friday working week with early finish on Fridays
No weekends and closed on bank holidays and Christmas

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance on all vehicle makes and models
Perform diagnostics and fault-finding using the latest tools and equipment
Carry out mechanical work including brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts, and gearboxes
Complete routine maintenance tasks such as fluid changes and general checks
Inspect and test electronic and computer-controlled systems
Perform tyre fitting and wheel alignment as required
Accurately document all work carried out in accordance with GDPR and company standards
Contribute to a high-quality customer service experience while working collaboratively within the workshop team Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or strong time-served experience
Proven mechanical knowledge across a broad range of vehicle makes and models
Confident in working independently to a high standard
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Full UK driving licence is essential; MOT licence beneficial but not required
Hybrid/EV qualification is advantageous but not required
