We are seeking a Senior Business Support Officer to join our Public Health team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role supporting services that make a real impact on the health and wellbeing of Warwickshire residents.
About the RoleAs a Senior Business Support Officer, you will provide high-level, professional support to Public Health teams, ensuring services run efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with commissioners and stakeholders, helping to deliver impactful programmes across areas such as health improvement and commissioned services.
In this varied role, you will:
- Support end-of-year financial processes
, ensuring accuracy and compliance - Provide complex business support activities
, including finance, systems, and data management - Coordinate and support meetings, panels, and projects
, including minute taking and action tracking - Linemanage up to 2 – 5 Business Support officers, supporting their development and performance
- Assist the Team Manager in work planning and allocation of tasks
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders
You will report directly to the Business Support Team Manager
, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and service delivery.

Essential skills and experience:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- High level of literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail
- Experience of working with financial processes and data
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders via different communication methods
- Proven experience using Microsoft Office applications and other
- Experience supporting meetings, including minute taking and follow-up
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Be part of a supportive and collaborative team
- Play a key role in improving outcomes for Warwickshire residents
