Help deliver the projects that power the UK's electricity transmission network

This is your chance to build broad experience across project controls, portfolio delivery and investment planning while helping deliver critical infrastructure safely, efficiently and on time.

Whether you're currently a Project Analyst, PMO Analyst, Portfolio Analyst, Project Coordinator, Project Controls Assistant or Programme Support professional, this role offers hands-on exposure to forecasting, governance, investment planning and infrastructure project delivery in a complex engineering environment all in one role. Based at Leeds or Warwick.

We're looking for a Project Support Coordinator to support a portfolio of Substation Protection & Control engineering projects, helping teams move work through setup, governance, reporting and closure. Working closely with Portfolio Project Managers, engineers and key stakeholders, you'll help keep project information accurate, decisions moving and delivery on track.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, financial information and people, and can turn detail into clear insight that supports effective decision-making. You'll maintain project and investment data within core systems, produce performance reports and dashboards, support cost planning, forecasting, sanctioning and project closure activities, coordinate governance reviews and actions, and work with project and engineering teams to ensure progress remains visible and well-managed.

Qualifications,

Skills And Experience
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting engineering, utilities, infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of project controls, PMO, project coordination or portfolio management activities.
  • Experience working with project data, reporting, forecasting or financial information.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential; experience with Power BI, project reporting tools or financial systems would be beneficial.
  • Starting salary £47,442 - £55,000 pa + Bonus + Paid overtime.
  • 26 days annual leave plus 8 statutory days, 37 Hours
    - Monday to Friday.
  • Contributory pension scheme
    - Employee up to 6% - Company up to 12% - total up to 18%.
