You will help the team to deliver clear, coordinated engagement with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring their views and needs are shaping Great Britain’s future energy system. As a SEP Engagement Coordinator, you will work closely with colleagues across NESO to support the reliable delivery of high-quality engagement and business-as-usual activity.

You will be responsible for providing coordination and some administrative support within the SEP Engagement Team. You will:

  • Deliver stakeholder engagement support across the SEP directorate.
  • Support the organisation and delivery of stakeholder events, forums, working groups, publications and communications, ensuring materials are accurate, timely and aligned with agreed quality standards.
  • Coordinate with colleagues across SEP and other NESO teams to help sequence activity, reduce duplication and provide a consistent stakeholder experience.
  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, including planned and completed activity, stakeholder feedback, insight and follow-up actions.
  • Contribute to SEP Engagement ways of working, guidance, templates and team processes, helping colleagues use agreed approaches consistently.
  • Improve defined coordination processes by identifying practical, proportionate improvements to how activities are planned, logged, reported or followed up.
  • Produce regular reports on completed and planned stakeholder engagement activity, supporting clear reporting of actions, themes, progress and risks for the team.
  • Support the running of stakeholder groups and forums, which may include industry, societal and place-based stakeholders, helping colleagues prepare, capture feedback and follow up actions.
  • Work closely with relationship managers and programme colleagues, escalating issues or decisions requiring managerial input.
  • Contribute positively to team meetings and discussions, sharing updates, identifying dependencies and supporting effective team delivery.

Decision-making in this role sits primarily at Input / Perform level. You will deliver agreed activities, provide information and recommendations to support decisions made by others, and execute any issues requiring managerial judgement, prioritisation or approval.

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK by the start of employment. Visa sponsorship may not be available for this role and will be considered in line with business requirements.
