We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Agent to join a regional civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure works on HS2 projects across Warwickshire.

The company has an excellent reputation within the civils sector and is involved in a range of works including earthworks, drainage, highways, reinforced concrete and associated infrastructure packages.

This is a long‑term freelance opportunity with immediate starts available.

Reporting into the Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

• Managing day‑to‑day site activities and subcontractors
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials on site
• Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme requirements
  
  Overseeing health & safety and ensuring compliance across site
• Reviewing RAMS, permits and site documentation
• Liaising with engineers, commercial teams and client representatives
• Managing site records, progress reporting and quality inspections
• Supporting delivery across reinforced concrete, earthworks, drainage and infrastructure works

• Previous experience working as a Site Agent within civil engineering
• Strong reinforced concrete (RC) experience is essential
• Experience delivering infrastructure, highways, earthworks or major civils projects
• HS2 experience would be advantageous
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates required
• Engineering background preferred
• Ability to manage subcontractors, programme and quality on live civils sites
• Strong communication and organisational skills
