Your new role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple residential developments across Warwickshire and Birmingham.

Your duties will include:

Subcontractor procurement and package management

Preparing and managing valuations

Cost reporting and budget control

Forecasting project costs and cash flow Managing variations and change control

Preparing and agreeing final accounts

Monitoring project profitability and commercial performance

Liaising with site teams, subcontractors and senior management

Conducting regular site visits across the West Midlands region

This role offers a blend of site, office and home, providing flexibility whilst maintaining close involvement with live projects.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the house building sectorA relevant qualification such as a Degree, HND or HNC in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills

Experience managing subcontractor accounts and procurement processes

The ability to travel throughout the West Midlands for site visits

Strong communication and stakeholder management skillsA CSCS card (beneficial but not essential)
