An opportunity has arisen to appoint a Junior Trust Specialist Doctor to join our team in the Emergency Department at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. The post is an opportunity to work at CT3 level with the support of our consultants and current middle grades to gain registrar level experience.
Main duties of the jobThe Emergency Department attends to over 100,000 patients annually and is nationally competitive in key performance indicators and remains nationally recognised for high patient satisfaction ratings. As a CT3 in Emergency Medicine you will play a pivotal role in providing and driving high‑quality care whilst also supporting junior colleagues to achieve this for all patients.
Job responsibilitiesWith our 14 consultants of Emergency Medicine this is a great time to join our department and contribute to our ethos of continuous improvement. We strongly support a culture of learning for all staff groups in order to be a centre of excellence in the service we provide for our patients and the support we provide our doctors to achieve their career advancements in Emergency Medicine.
Post holders will also benefit from allocated time for non‑clinical CPD and opportunities to lead ED service improvements. The department encourages career progression and offers the opportunity for promotion to an independent doctor (equivalent to middle grade) position subject to meeting the requirements of this post, and we actively support applicants wishing to undertake the FRCEM and CESR.
The role requires strong clinical skills, effective teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Physical requirement- Satisfactory Occupational Health Clearance
