Warwickshire College Group is seeking a passionate and industry-experienced Lecturer in Countryside Management & Land-based Studies to join the team at Moreton Morrell College - one of the UK’s leading land-based education centres.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to help shape the next generation of countryside and environmental practitioners. You will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across a range of land-based subjects, combining classroom theory with practical, hands‑on learning in real-world environments. The role includes planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting learners to achieve their full potential.

Working within a well-established and forward-thinking department, you’ll contribute to a curriculum that reflects current industry practices, sustainability priorities, and employer needs. The role involves outdoor teaching in varied conditions, use of land-based machinery and tools, and occasional flexibility for field trips and off‑site visits.

We are looking for someone with strong practical experience in countryside or land management, alongside relevant qualifications (Level 5 or above in a related discipline such as ecology, agriculture, or forestry). Teaching experience in further education or training is desirable, but not essential—full training and support are provided for those new to teaching, including access to recognised teaching qualifications.

The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for the sector, confidence working with young people (including those with additional needs), and the ability to deliver both practical and theory-based learning. Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills are essential, along with a commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

In return, you’ll join a supportive organisation that values professional development and wellbeing. Benefits include generous annual leave, structured training and development programmes, health and wellbeing support, pension schemes, and access to excellent on‑site facilities.

If you’re ready to inspire future countryside professionals and contribute to a thriving land-based college, we’d love to hear from you.
