Overview
Warwick School is seeking to appoint a Cello teacher to work within the busy and thriving Music Department of Warwick School.
Responsibilities- Deliver Cello lessons as part of the Instrumental Scheme for Year 7 pupils.
- Classes typically have 2 to 5 pupils per class; each lesson lasts 50 minutes.
- A curriculum and set pieces are to be studied; a performance is given at the end of the Michaelmas Term.
- This role reports to the Director of Music (Warwick School).
Hours of Work: (maximum per day). Possibility for this to spread across multiple days in the future.
Instrumental Scheme teaching: Tuesdays for Michaelmas Term (September to December) only 5 hours per week in Michaelmas Term on the Year 7 Instrumental Scheme – pupil numbers thereafter depend on uptake.
RemunerationSalary range: £34.01 per hour plus 12.07% holiday pay (pro-rata based on number of lessons or lesson duration in accordance with the maintained pupil list) (subject to review annually).
