About the role
Justteachers is recruiting for a Year 2 class teacher to work full time in a primary school in Warwick. This role will run from September 2026 until July 2027 and will involve delivering the national curriculum to pupils aged 6–7 years old.
The school is a one‑form‑entry Catholic primary situated in a residential area, known for its warm, nurturing ethos and strong sense of community.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and teach engaging lessons aligned with the Year 2 national curriculum to ensure strong progress.
- Use ongoing assessment to identify next steps, adapt teaching, and maintain accurate records of pupil attainment.
- Foster a supportive, well‑managed space that promotes independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
- Proven experience in Primary Education
- A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school‑based references
