We are seeking to appoint a committed, adaptable, and enthusiastic General Cover Teacher to join our dedicated team in Warwickshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner who enjoys working across a range of subjects and is passionate about ensuring all students receive high-quality learning experiences.

The successful candidate will provide planned lesson cover across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement while supporting students to make excellent progress.

Role

You will:

  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a variety of curriculum areas.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and purposeful learning environment.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons.
  • Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school.
Requirements
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching secondary‑aged students (KS3 and KS4).
  • Is flexible, resilient, and confident teaching across different subject areas.
  • Has excellent classroom management skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
  • Demonstrates strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Shares our commitment to high standards and student success.
