Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Coordinator
Up to £32,000 per annum (DOE)

This is a rare opportunity to join one of Leamington s most respected engineering employers. This business is a long-established UK OEM, designing and manufacturing specialist engineered products used globally.
They are now looking to recruit a SHE Coordinator to support the development and delivery of Safety, Health and Environmental compliance across the site. This is a hands-on, visible role suited to someone who enjoys being out on the shop floor, working closely with manufacturing teams and ensuring best practice is embedded day-to-day.
The roleReporting into the SHE / HR Manager, you will play a key part in supporting the ongoing improvement of safety performance and compliance, including:
Supporting and coordinating Safety Event Investigations
Tracking SHE performance data (both leading and lagging indicators) and identifying trends
Maintaining SHE administrative systems, procedures and reporting documentation
Coordinating compliance activity such as inspections, surveys, testing and maintenance
Supporting COSHH / PUWER assessments and ensuring documentation is up to date
Conducting weekly safety tours and supporting the close-out of actions
Creating templates, documentation and delivering basic toolbox talks / briefings
Supporting environmental compliance including hazardous waste handling and sustainability reporting
Helping to drive behavioural safety and engagement across the business
Supporting SHE meetings including action tracking and minutes
This role will suit someone who is organised, proactive, confident communicating with production teams and able to manage multiple compliance activities at once.
Minimum 2 years experience in a SHE role, or 2 years experience at a supervisory/team leader level in manufacturing/engineering
NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Safety & Health (or equivalent)
Strong understanding of SHE requirements and compliance standards
Good IT skills (particularly Microsoft Office, with Excel at an intermediate level)
Confident, professional communicator with strong attention to detail
Experience with in a unionised environment would be an advantage
