A leading product design and engineering consultancy is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding technical team. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of innovative projects across consumer products, transport, medical devices, and scientific technology.
You will work within multi-disciplinary teams to develop mechanical solutions for products used worldwide, seeing your ideas progress from concept through to market launch.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality mechanical engineering work across product development projects
- Generate creative mechanical concepts and solve complex engineering problems
- Use CAD/CAE tools to develop, analyse, and optimise designs
- Lead work packages and take ownership of technical tasks
- Support and guide junior engineers, reviewing their work when required
- Build and test prototypes using advanced workshop and lab facilities
- Work closely with designers, electronics engineers, software teams and manufacturing specialists
- Contribute to projects covering early R&D through to full manufacturing implementation
- Produce engineering documentation, reports and client communication where needed
- Degree (1st or 2:1) in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical discipline
- Experience in mechanical design or product development
- Strong ability using CAD and CAE tools for engineering analysis and modelling
- Working knowledge of prototyping, materials, and manufacturing processes (e.g., injection moulding, rapid prototyping)
- Creative, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic engineering consultancy environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to work on-site in Warwick
