You will be responsible for providing outstanding product support to Renault Trucks sales staff, customers, and prospects. This will take the form of developing propositions to meet customer requirements, and exploring possible technical solutions in partnership with Lyon-based engineering teams where these requirements cannot be met by existing model specifications.

You are an engineering professional with a strong technical understanding of commercial vehicles. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the skills to deliver outstanding service and solutions to customers.
You bring:
- Either an HNC or HND level in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicles and the broader market
- Knowledge of the sales process with excellent organisational and administrative skills
- First-class communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- A customer-focused approach that ensures high-quality service
- A Valid UK Driving Licence
- Class 1 Licence (advantageous)
At Renault Trucks UK, you will be reporting to the Head of Product Management, joining a team of Sales Engineers, Product Engineer and the Homologation Manager. The team is supportive and collaborative, always striving to solve varied problems and meet the diverse needs of our customers.
You will also work closely with our dealer teams, bodybuilders, internal departments, including product management and engineering teams in Lyon.

Your Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will be a product expert in both the ICE and E-Tech ranges. You will develop and deliver high-quality training materials that equip the sales team to confidently communicate the key benefits of Renault Trucks to customers.
You will occasionally provide technical support to company and industry events where Renault Trucks are being displayed or demonstrated.
- Regularly visit dealers and customers to provide accurate technical information and advice.
- Communicate quarterly updates and range-specific information.
- Offer technical support to bodybuilders and manage specific bodybuilder relationships, promoting Renault Trucks as the chassis provider of choice.
- Validate vehicle orders which contain technical requests or adaptions.
- Liaise with product management and engineering teams on product development, technical issues and customer adaptions.
- Manage and resolve customer engineering issues.
- Undertake project work as required to reflect changes in the product and business environment.
