We're supporting a market leader in intelligent parking solutions as they grow their Field Service Engineer team!
The company have their own bespoke parking systems; designed, built, and manufactured in the UK!
Systems you'll be working on:
Ticket Kiosks, Barrier Systems, and the latest Ai ANPR/CCTV Camera technology!
Full product training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong networking and minor electrical skills who wants to develop in a specialist, future‑focused industry.
The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will:
- Carry out repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance on parking and access control systems
- Support installation and upgrade projects when required
- Diagnose electrical, networking, and software‑related faults
- Configure system software, update firmware, and perform basic application‑level troubleshooting
- Work independently, managing your own schedule across the Midlands
- Deliver a professional, customer‑focused service at all times
You must have experience in a field‑based service, maintenance, or service role, ideally involving one or more of the following:
- ATM or payment systems
- Networking / Wi‑Fi equipment
- CCTV / ANPR cameras
- Access control or security systems
- Ticket kiosks / machines
- Intercom systems
- EPOS equipment
- Software‑driven or PC‑based hardware systems
- Basic electrical knowledge and strong networking fault‑finding ability
- Confident working with hardware, cabling, and low‑voltage systems
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues, install updates, and configure system settings
- Comfortable using diagnostic tools, remote support software, and system interfaces
- Able to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑first approach
- Comfortable travelling and working independently
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong networking and smart device experience
- Basic Electrical experience
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Strong written and verbal English
- Recognised qualification in electrical engineering (ECS card / 18th edition / PAT testing etc.)
- Recognised qualification in network engineering (CompTIA, Cisco, HND in Computing etc.)
