11‑month contract

Based in West Midlands

£27.21 per hour (Inside IR35)

I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in West Midlands, who are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join their team.

As Industrial Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Determine the most effective way of optimising people and facilities.
• Ensure achievement of programme manpower targets.
• Hours‑per‑car reporting, with manning implications.
• Best practice productivity ideas incorporated into programme.
• Assignment allocation, in conjunction with production plant.

• Experience of assembly operations, within manufacturing.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and Design, for Assembly principles.
• Industrial Engineering experience, with associated tools and techniques.
• Previous experience of GSPAS and APT or equivalent tools.
• Process authoring / process allocation tools experience would be an advantage.
