Job Overview
Aircraft Engine Technician – Gas Turbine Engines.
Location:
Warwick. Salary:
Negotiable, dependent on experience. Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Permanent full‑time position.
- Assist with inspection of gas turbine engine components.
- Assist with strip‑down and disassembly of engines.
- Support the rebuild and assembly of gas turbine engines.
- Assist with engine testing activities.
- Learn common fault diagnostics and repair solutions.
- Follow technical manuals, instructions and engineering procedures.
- Use specialist tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
- Work closely with engineers and technicians across the business.
- Travel away from site when required.
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship (or relevant industry experience).
- Good hand skills and familiarity with engineering tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Self‑motivated, able to work as part of a team.
- Positive can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Physically fit and able to spend long periods standing.
- Good computer literacy skills.
- Effective communication across all levels of the business.
- Understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
- Previous experience within the aviation industry.
- Gas turbine engine repair shop experience.
- Experience carrying out deep strip, inspection and build of gas turbine engines.
- Previous aerospace engineering experience.
- Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience.
