Job Overview

Aircraft Engine Technician – Gas Turbine Engines.

Location:

Warwick. Salary:
Negotiable, dependent on experience. Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Permanent full‑time position.

• Assist with inspection of gas turbine engine components.
• Assist with strip‑down and disassembly of engines.
• Support the rebuild and assembly of gas turbine engines.
• Assist with engine testing activities.
• Learn common fault diagnostics and repair solutions.
• Follow technical manuals, instructions and engineering procedures.
• Use specialist tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and workmanship.
• Work closely with engineers and technicians across the business.
• Travel away from site when required.

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship (or relevant industry experience).
• Good hand skills and familiarity with engineering tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Self‑motivated, able to work as part of a team.
• Positive can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and able to spend long periods standing.
• Good computer literacy skills.
• Effective communication across all levels of the business.
• Understanding of Health & Safety procedures.

• Previous experience within the aviation industry.
• Gas turbine engine repair shop experience.
• Experience carrying out deep strip, inspection and build of gas turbine engines.
• Previous aerospace engineering experience.
