Proposal Manager Aeroderivative Gas Turbine, Modifications and Upgrades

This role is accountable for developing techno‑commercial proposals for the AGT Modifications and Upgrades business globally. The manager leads the process from receipt of the request for quotation, engages engineering, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and planning to develop the final proposal, structures the pricing matrix, and advances the business case for internal approval. The proposal manager also supports negotiations with customers and, upon successful order receipt, hands over the project to the execution team.

• Work with Regional Sales personnel to identify customer project requirements related to Gas Turbine, Power Turbine, and Package upgrades and controls upgrades.
• Support Regional Sales personnel in pursuing integrated solutions projects and developing sales strategies to win bids.
• Coordinate and prepare integrated solutions comprising various facets of modernizations, upgrades, and repair & overhaul proposals.
• Provide project management support for developing comprehensive sales proposals that lead to orders for gas turbine engines, package auxiliary equipment, compression, and electric generator applications of the Siemens Energy Aero‑derivative product line.
• Develop cost and margin analysis, project and business risk analysis, bid approval, and handover documentation as required by the Business Approval Authorities.
• Prepare and present proposal documentation for the product line, regional entities, and the customer.
• Manage the bid preparation process under PM@SE and associated sub‑processes and tools.
• Manage the project handover process to project execution in the region and business unit.
• Deliver continuous improvement of internal processes to improve bid‑management efficiency.
• Provide leadership and influence across cross‑functional teams and multiple product line teams to ensure consistent on‑time delivery to the customer.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of successful experience in project management, sales, proposals, or application engineering in the oil & gas, power generation, or heavy industry; experience with gas turbines preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
