Location:
Wokingham or Warwick (Hybrid Working - 2 days in the office per week)
Contract Length: 6 months
Daily Rate: 250 - 350 (inside IR35 via umbrella)
Are you ready to embark on a transformative journey with us? Our client, a leading player in the energy sector, is on the lookout for a talented Revenue Analyst! This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in revenue accounting, forecasting, and reporting while supporting vital decision-making processes.
About the RoleAs a Revenue Analyst, you will report to the Revenue Accountant and be instrumental in delivering high-quality revenue financials for our client. Your keen eye for detail will ensure accurate data management, enabling informed decisions that drive the organisation forward. Collaborate with various stakeholders and act as a subject matter expert on revenue-related matters!
Key Responsibilities- Support the Revenue Accountant with revenue financials (actuals, budgets, and forecasts) and related reporting.
- Ensure the month-end process for revenue is seamless by verifying data accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare insightful financial reports for revenue, explaining key variances effectively.
- Act as a revenue subject matter expert and assist with ad-hoc project work.
- Build knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and ensure compliance.
- Experience in management accounting/reporting (planning, forecasting, budgeting).
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to research and compliance.
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience in a regulated business.
- Educated to graduate level or equivalent professional experience.
- Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
