Office-based About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a professional Financial Planning team in Lewes. This is more than a traditional Paraplanning position. It offers an experienced Paraplanner the opportunity to develop their technical knowledge, client-facing skills and wider Financial Planning experience, with a clear pathway towards becoming a Chartered Financial Planner .

The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Financial Planners, gaining exposure to all aspects of the financial planning process and gradually taking on increased responsibility for clients. Career Progression A structured development pathway is in place, designed to support your progression into Financial Advice:
Years 1-2:
Build on your existing Paraplanning and Financial Planning skills Years 3-5:
Continue professional development and work towards Chartered status Year 5 onwards:
Progress towards a full-time Chartered Financial Planner role, taking responsibility for clients and developing your own client relationships This is an excellent opportunity for a Paraplanner who is serious about progressing into Financial Advice and building a long-term career within Financial Planning.

Key Responsibilities Provide Paraplanning and technical support to Financial Planners Undertake financial planning research and analysis Prepare suitability reports and financial planning documentation Support the preparation and delivery of client reviews Develop technical knowledge across pensions, investments and wider financial planning Assist with the delivery of holistic financial planning solutions Gain exposure to client meetings and develop client-facing skills Build strong knowledge of the financial planning process Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance Develop knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice Work towards further professional financial planning qualifications Take on increasing responsibility as your knowledge and experience develops About You We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner who is ready to take the next step towards becoming a Financial Planner.

You will ideally have:
Minimum 2 years' Paraplanning experience Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning A genuine desire to progress into Financial Advice An interest in working towards further professional qualifications Strong technical Financial Planning knowledge Excellent attention to detail Strong analytical and research skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills A passion for delivering exceptional client service An interest in developing client-facing and relationship management skills A proactive and positive approach to learning Ability to work effectively as part of a team Willingness to work predominantly office-based to benefit from structured training and development What’s on Offer Salary up to £45,000 , depending on experience Full-time, permanent position Office-based role in Lewes Structured 5-year career pathway into Financial Advice Support towards further professional qualifications Opportunity to work towards Chartered Financial Planner status Exposure to client meetings and relationship management Genuine long-term career progression Supportive and collaborative working environment Why Apply?
