Finance Assistant Norwich £28,000 - £32,000 Full-time Excellent progression opportunity Are you an AAT Level 3 or 4 qualified finance professional looking for your next step? We're working with a growing and well-established business in Norwich that is looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has a good grounding in finance and is now looking for a role where they can develop their skills, take on more responsibility and progress within the business.

The Role Working as part of the finance team, you will support with a range of day-to-day accounting duties while gaining exposure to more advanced areas of finance as your experience develops. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing invoices and finance transactions accurately Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Bank and balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with journals and month-end processes Supporting the preparation of management information and reports Maintaining accurate financial records Investigating and resolving finance queries Assisting with accruals and prepayments Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and reporting Working with internal teams and external contacts to resolve queries Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies As you develop within the role, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and gain exposure to areas such as management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting.

About You We're looking for someone who is ambitious, motivated and keen to build a long-term career in finance. Ideally, you will have: AAT Level 3 or Level 4, or be working towards this Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar role A good understanding of basic accounting principles

Experience with reconciliations, invoices and general finance processes Good Excel skills and confidence working with financial data Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines A proactive approach and willingness to learn A genuine desire to progress and develop your career within finance What's on Offer?
