Housing Compliance & Enforcement Officer
📍 Warwick (CV34)
💰 £19.32 LTD per hour
🕒 37 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday
📅 12 Week Temporary Contract
🚗 Full UK Driving Licence & Access to Vehicle Required
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Compliance & Enforcement Officer to join a busy Housing Management team on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong experience managing anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches and enforcement cases to take ownership of complex investigations and support frontline housing teams.
The Role
You will take the lead on serious and complex cases of anti-social behaviour, harassment and tenancy or lease breaches, ensuring thorough investigations, evidence gathering and appropriate enforcement action. You'll work closely with Housing Officers, legal teams and partner agencies to deliver positive outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Managing complex ASB, harassment and tenancy breach cases from investigation through to resolution
• Gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses and preparing legal documentation
• Supporting and advising Housing Officers on ASB and tenancy enforcement cases
• Preparing court papers, witness statements and attending court hearings where required
• Working with police, local authorities and partner agencies to resolve complex cases
• Promoting ASB prevention initiatives and community engagement activities
• Ensuring vulnerable residents are appropriately safeguarded throughout case management processes
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice Requirements
Minimum 3 years' housing management experience
• Strong experience managing anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches and enforcement cases
• Excellent knowledge of ASB legislation, tenancy enforcement and housing management practice
• Experience preparing legal cases and attending court proceedings
• Ability to manage challenging situations and support vulnerable residents
• Strong communication, negotiation and partnership working skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
