As a Network Planning Officer
, you’ll play a central role in delivering this change helping to create a more accessible, sustainable and connected transport network for residents across the county.

Working alongside another Network Planning Officer, you will:
- Lead the review and development of Warwickshire’s public transport network
- Design and optimise routes, timetables and services to meet evolving demand
- Contribute to funding bids (DfT, developer contributions and other streams)
- Collaborate with operators, stakeholders and internal teams to deliver improvements
- Support the development of innovative, data-led approaches to network planning
You’ll be part of a skilled Public Transport team, reporting to the Public Transport Service Manager, and working in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
About youWe’re looking for an experienced professional who can bring both expertise and insight:
- Proven experience in public transport planning (typically 5+ years or equivalent)
- Strong skills in routing, scheduling and service design
- Knowledge of transport funding and business case development
- Confident engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and partners
- Comfortable using data and digital tools to inform planning decisions
The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
