We are looking for an Ecologist for one year atapproximately 4 days a week to cover maternity leave. Your primary rolewillbetodeliverecological planning advice for adistrict orboroughcouncilwithin

Warwickshire.

There willalsobe opportunities to support the Warwickshire Biological Record Centre; carry out ecological surveys for project work;and help fashion new nature markets to support investment into Warwickshire, all todeliver the Warwickshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy.

You will be joining a dedicated, knowledgeable, and experienced team comprising
14 ecological officers, five historic environment officers, and two landscape architects.

We are seeking an enthusiastic officer with good ecological background knowledge. Those with aproventrack recordfor delivering high-quality planning advice will be at an advantage.

Currently, this post is for 1 year, butour team is growing andthere is a significant chance that it will be extended with the aim to become permanent.
