Position: 2WW Booking Co-Ordinator

Overview

Patient Access Services is a busy and diverse area that books Two‑Week Wait outpatient appointments for patients and we are looking for an individual who is interested in this permanent role.

Responsibilities
  • Book 2WW appointments, set up clinics, and manage related clerical duties.
  • Handle general enquiries face‑to‑face or by telephone, including cancelling or rescheduling appointments.
  • Work within the 2WW Booking Team, ensuring waiting time targets are achieved and maintaining high customer service and data quality standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and the wider team to support patients, medical staff and the management process.
  • Prioritise own workload, act proactively and use initiative.
Qualifications
  • Good team worker with ability to work independently and flexibly.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Effective communication skills for face‑to‑face and telephone interactions.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work proactively to achieve targets.
