Victoria Ward is a 21 bed ward and is for general medical, frailty, dementia, and palliative patients. Our vision is to deliver outstanding care to patients on the ward and aim to give individual patients personalised holistic care during their stay with us.

Working Hours

The position is for 10 hours per week with five hours on Monday and five hours on Friday. Unfortunately, these days are not negotiable but the working times within the days are i.e you could work school hours.

Responsibilities
  • Reception duties and answering calls
  • Checking patient’s details
  • Maintaining ward stock and general clerical duties
  • Ensuring that notes are tracked and available for doctors
  • Support to the team and the unit manager in clerical duties and daily running of the department
  • Ensure that all support facilities are in place
Qualifications and Skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Some IT and PC skills
  • Knowledge of Lorenzo desirable (full training will be provided)
  • Self‑motivated, enthusiastic and able to work as part of a busy unit
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work on your own initiative to tight deadlines
