Position Overview
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic, forward‑thinking pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician for our weekend service at Warwick Hospital.
In this role you will deliver a safe, effective, and efficient ward‑based Medicines Management service during weekends, working closely with clinical and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Operate at a senior level of practice as a registered Pharmacy Technician (GPhC)
- Supervise Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Assistants, Senior Assistants, and trainees during the weekend shift
- Co‑operate with all pharmacy and healthcare staff to provide pharmacy services
- Maintain a network with counterparts in other Trusts for information exchange and idea sharing
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC
- Post‑registration experience sufficient to operate at a senior level of practice
- Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills
- Commitment to work during weekends
