Job Description & How to Apply Below

Join Priory Medical Centre, a busy, forward thinking GP partnership in the heart of Warwick, as a Nursing Associate and make a real difference every day.

You’ll work alongside skilled nurses, clinicians and an energetic multidisciplinary team caring for a diverse patient list of around 19,000 across our modern main surgery and branch site.

This is a hands‑on, varied role where you’ll deliver compassionate, person‑centred care: from clinical observations, wound care and dressings to venepuncture, ECGs and immunisations, with training and competency support.

You’ll help streamline care so registered nurses can focus on complex cases, contribute to public health and screening programmes, and play an active part in quality improvement and service development across the PCN.

We offer a full induction, ongoing clinical supervision, protected CPD and real opportunities to grow – including mentoring learners and shaping how care is delivered locally. We will be more than happy to support development through to RGN level for the right candidate.

If you’re NMC registered, committed to excellent patient care, and excited to work in a collaborative, supportive practice that values innovation and development, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now to join a team thats proud to put patients first and to help you build a rewarding career in primary care.

Main duties of the job

Patient management: process pathology results, maintain accurate SNOMED coded records, and provide health promotion and opportunistic screening (NHS health checks).

Teamwork and support: work within the MDT to streamline care, support registered nurses by managing routine tasks, and act as a chaperone when required.

Education and development: mentor and supervise learners and healthcare assistants, engage in reflective practice and clinical supervision, and pursue CPD to expand competencies.

Quality and governance: contribute to quality improvement, safety initiatives, and service development across the practice and PCN.

You will be expected to recognise professional boundaries, escalate concerns appropriately, and help deliver integrated, efficient primary care.
