Job description
At Turning Point, we support people with Learning Disabilities across England. As a Wellbeing and Community Navigator, you will make a real difference to peoples' lives as you improve their daily living skills. Passionate about people, you will enjoy the scope and support to enhance your own life and career too, as you gain the experience and training you need to progress with us.
Wherewill I be working?
Our Warwickshire Wellbeing Service provides advice, information, support and workshops to people with Learning Disabilities and Autism in Warwickshire over the age of 16. We support our service users to make positive changes and to lead more independent lives. Activity will take place in a variety of community settings where people can access short-term 1-1 support, attend workshops and pop in for advice and information.
Activity will also be through accessible alternatives including face to face contact, via the telephone or online. The Wellbeing and Community Navigator will also provide signposting information to family carers.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. There is also a requirement to work some evenings and potentially weekends, as the service requires.
