Due to a period of growth, our client are seeking a Warehouse Operative/Machine Assistant to join their rapidly growing production team. In this hands-on role, you ll support the Machine Operator in running the digital print line efficiently, as well as manage warehouse duties such as banding, wrapping, labelling, and materials handling.

You'll work a mixture of days and nights, on a weekly rotating basis. (Week one: 4x 12 hour day shifts. Week 2: 3x 12 hour night shifts) and a forklift license is essential for this role.

The Role

• Assist the Digital Print Line Operator to maintain steady output and ensure production targets are met.
• Support in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working area around the machine.
• Band, wrap, and label finished goods ready for dispatch.
• Operate a forklift truck to move raw materials, feed production machines, and load/unload delivery vehicles.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and care of the forklift truck.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to take on other operational tasks as needed.

The Person

• Valid Forklift Truck Licence (essential).
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written instructions accurately.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment is desirable.
