Press Brake Operator / Sheet Metal Operator

We are recruiting for a skilled Press Brake Operator / Sheet Metal Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Banbury
. This role is ideal for someone with previous press brake experience and a strong background working with sheet metal.

This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced operator who can work from engineering drawings, maintain quality standards, and support production targets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As a Press Brake Operator / Sheet Metal Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating press brake machinery to produce high-quality metal components to precise engineering specifications.

You will work closely with the production team to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.

• Setting and operating press brake machinery
• Working with sheet metal components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Producing parts to precise measurements and specifications
• Carrying out quality inspections on finished products
• Performing basic machine checks and adjustments
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supporting production deadlines and team targets

• Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator / Sheet Metal Operator
• Experience working with sheet metal within engineering or manufacturing
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable and proactive attitude
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and metal fabrication

Location:

Banbury

Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 depending on experience

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm
