Production Area Supervisor

Location: Warwickshire

Red Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Production Area Supervisor on behalf of a leading precision engineering and metal stamping manufacturer based in Redditch.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing Team Leader or Supervisor to join a growing business supplying safety-critical components to the aerospace, automotive, defence and medical sectors.

The Role

You'll be responsible for leading a team of setters and operators within a busy press shop environment, ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervising and motivating production teams

* Delivering output, quality and OEE targets

* Coordinating tool changes and production schedules

* Driving continuous improvement initiatives including 5S and SMED

* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards

* Managing performance, training and development within your team

The Candidate

* Previous supervisory experience within manufacturing, metal stamping, press shop or similar production environments

* Strong understanding of production KPIs, quality and continuous improvement

* Experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting

* Confident communicator with a hands-on management style

* Knowledge of power presses and tooling processes would be highly advantageous
