Permanent Position
Actio Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading precision engineering company in Warwick.
We are seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a high-precision engineering environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist with experience in both CNC and manual grinding to join a stable company offering competitive pay and a permanent PM shift.
The Role
You will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components using a range of grinding machinery, ensuring work is completed to specification and quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Operating Jones & Shipman CNC Cylindrical Grinding
* Setting and operating manual cylindrical grinding machines
* Operating manual surface grinding machines
* Working from engineering drawings and specifications
* Inspecting finished components to ensure conformance to tolerances
* Maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping
* Working efficiently to meet production schedules
Requirements
* Proven experience in cylindrical and surface grinding
* Ability to set and operate CNC grinding machinery
* Experience with Jones & Shipman grinding machines would be highly advantageous
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to producing high-quality work
Shift Pattern
PM Shift
* Monday to Thursday: 2:30pm - 11:30pm
* Friday: 12:45pm - 5:30pm
Salary
* £16 to £20 per hour inc shift allowance
