Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen on Greville Ward, a 22 bedded trauma orthopaedic ward. We are offering a full‑time Band 5 RN post to join the well‑established, friendly trauma orthopaedic team.
Responsibilities- Lead and motivate a team.
- Use initiative to problem‑solve in addition to supporting and developing other staff members and student nurses.
- Demonstrate recent Continuing Professional Development and innovations in practice.
- Provide compassionate care with excellent clinical skills.
- Perform a pivotal role within the ward team, providing care for pre‑ and post‑operative trauma & orthopaedic patients.
- Assess care needs.
- Plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
- Provide documentary evidence of services delivered.
- Manage the ward in accordance with the Trust policies.
- Support Band 7 and Band 6 staff.
- Minimum 1 year Band 5 experience in Orthopaedics.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Recent Continuing Professional Development.
- Innovative practice and excellent clinical skills.
