Senior Health & Safety Adviser

Position: Senior Health & Safety Adviser
Location: Warwickshire

Health & Safety Adviser | Warwickshire | £25 to £35 per hour | initially 3 months.

Our client a large Local Authority are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Adviser to provide expert advice and support across a large and diverse organisation.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide practical health and safety advice to managers and employees.

* Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections and accident investigations.

* Develop and review health and safety policies, procedures and management systems.

* Monitor health and safety performance and identify areas for improvement.

* Deliver health and safety training, guidance and support.

* Advise on emergency procedures, fire safety, contractors and CDM compliance.

* Work closely with HR, Occupational Health, Risk Management, Building Services and Trade Union representatives.

* Liaise with the HSE, Fire & Rescue Services and other relevant authorities.
About You

You will have strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, with proven experience in risk assessment, auditing, inspections and incident investigation.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to influence managers and senior stakeholders, provide practical solutions and manage competing priorities.
