Hours:

21:15 – 07:00, Monday – Thursday
Or
Fri 11:30am-12am
Sat 1pm - 1:30am
Sun 1pm - 1:30am

Role Summary

This Quality Inspector role involves working within a small, highly skilled team to deliver high-quality transmission components, primarily for the motor sport and aerospace sectors. The Quality Inspector will focus is on achieving right first-time quality through accurate inspection, strong technical understanding, and adherence to routed time frames.

Role & Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector

Interpret and work accurately from complex technical drawings and geometric tolerances
Inspect components against drawings and planning route cards to the highest quality standards
Carry out manual inspection using a range of measuring equipment
Perform table work to validate components against drawing and planning requirements
Support continuous improvement activities through proactive problem-solving
Provide flexible support to other manufacturing areas when required
Work additional hours when necessary to meet delivery deadlines
Requirements of the Role

The Quality Inspector will have a strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances
Experience inspecting precision components within routed time frames
Competence using manual measuring equipment
Experience performing detailed table inspection work
Programming experience on CMM systems would be beneficial
Knowledge of Mitutoyo software would be advantageous
Proactive, innovative mindset with a strong team-focused approach
