QHSE Manager
Permanent Position
Working Hours - 39 (Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 17:00pm & Friday 08:00am - 13:00pm)
Salary: £60,000 - £66,000
The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive QHSE Manager to lead and manage Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards across the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and company procedures, while driving a strong culture of continuous improvement, quality, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the company's QHSE systems, policies, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety and environmental legislation.
Lead internal audits, inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
Monitor and improve quality standards across manufacturing and operational processes.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and customer complaints.
Develop and deliver QHSE training and promote a positive safety culture.
Manage environmental requirements, including waste management and sustainability initiatives.
Maintain relevant documentation, records, and compliance reports.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk, improve quality, and increase operational efficiency.
Lead quality department including engineers and inspectors
The Ideal Candidate :
Previous experience in a QHSE/HSEQ management role, ideally within metal pressing, manufacturing or engineering.
Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality, and environmental legislation.
Experience with audits, risk assessments, investigations, and corrective actions.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Work with the senior management team to advance the business to next milestone.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Relevant QHSE qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Good knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP and SABRe. In return you can expect a competitive salary and excellent package, including sporting afternoons and company funded social events. Free onsite parking is available and a flexible holiday entitlement.
