Job DescriptionThis job entails the day to day running of the shop- serving customers, using the till, cashing up at the end of the day, dealing with deliveries as they arrive and organising the online customer orders. In addition to this, the assistant manager is required to aid the manager in completing daily admin tasks, tracking hours and sales as well as joining and participating in weekly teams calls with other stores.
Alongside store responsibilities, the assistant manager would be expected to attend school events- whether that is for our store or for other stores. This could include leaf letting, school sales or uniform fitting events.
During the winter, the shop is open five days a week 9-5 whilst during the summer, the shop is open every day 8:30-6 (10-4 on a Sunday) which means that you would be required to increase your hours over the summer to cater for this. All the hours are balanced out through the year- so more time off over winter to prepare for extra work over summer.
