Warwick HSSU Hub | Sterile Services Unit | Full time

Up to £25,800 dependent on experience, enhancements for unsocial hours.

Our Hospital Sterile Services Unit (HSSU) transports sterile and disinfected surgical equipment to our local hospital network. If you have a full driving licence with a C1 entitlement which allows you to drive rigid vehicles up to 7.5 tons Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) and hold a digital tachograph card, you could enjoy the benefits of joining the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity.

A full Driver Qualification card (CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)) is advantageous but full training is available.

As a Driver on our HSSU team, you’re comfortable with manual handling and happy to move transport trolleys weighing upwards of 250kg. As well as a basic knowledge of current driver hour legislation, you ideally hold a driver digital tachograph card. You’ll be a great ambassador for our unit and our customers’ first point of contact.

• Collect and make deliveries to our customers.
• Keep equipment & delivery vehicles in good working order and report any faults / defects.
• Keep a clean, tidy work environment and identify stock issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate tachograph records and documentation.
• Be flexible with your working hours (shifts operate between 4am and 10pm, Monday to Friday with varying times on Saturdays).

• Full driving licence with C1 entitlement for rigid vehicles up to 7.5 tons GVW.
