Position Summary As an HVAC Install Apprentice, you'll support licensed technicians and installers with setting up and installing heating and air conditioning systems in homes and businesses, learning hands-on as you go. It's a trade with steady, reliable demand, and this is where you start building real skills for a long-term career.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist HVAC installers with the setup, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems, including ductwork and wiring
• Prepare tools, materials, and work areas, and perform basic tasks like measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling under supervision
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and project instructions from senior technicians, ensuring all work meets building codes and safety regulations
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites, and document work performed and time logs as required
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, and take part in training and safety meetings to build your HVAC trade knowledge
