Tax Professional - Franchise

Seasonal Tax Professional at H&R Block in Washington Court House, OH.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face‑to‑face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare complete and accurate individual and business tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including tax notice services (all certification levels) and audit representation (Circular 230 associates).
• Mentor and support teammates.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Experience completing individual returns.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Comfort using virtual tools – video, phone, chat.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma/equivalent or higher.
