We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our team. The Speech and Language Pathologist will primarily be responsible for diagnosis, treatment, counseling and follow‑up services for speech, language, cognitive and behavioral disorders. Students will be served in Washington City Schools, Miami Trace, Head Start, Starting Gate and in home as needed. Caregiver schedule follows the school year schedule.

• Evaluate, treat, and prevent speech, language and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment plans as part of an IEP to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of students.
• Perform screenings to detect language or speech disorders.
• Educate students, teachers, aides, and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Keep detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.

You’re passionate about patient care, eager to grow professionally, and value teamwork. You have excellent communication and time management skills and a desire to make a meaningful difference in your patients' lives.

• Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license as a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with computers and basic word processing tools.

• 1–2 years of experience providing direct patient care in a healthcare setting.
• Clinical internship or experience in patient‑facing roles during graduate training.
• Familiarity with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) and/or Vital Stim certification.
• Strong understanding of the ASHA Code of Ethics and relevant state practice laws.

Starting at $37.39/hr and up to $51.42/hr, with final compensation based on your clinical experience and qualifications.
