To implement and maintain electrical power circuits and equipment, control and automation systems, electronic and pneumatic equipment used in pipeline, pump stations, compressor stations, and measurement facilities.

Ensure the reliable operation of all electrical and control integrity systems throughout Tallgrass’s pipeline and industrial facilities.

• Responsible for all activities related to electrical and control integrity including design, installation, inspection, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, calibration and adjustment of various pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic, and PLC control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers and auxiliary equipment.
• Conduct Inspection and Maintenance (I&M) checks on all control systems.
• Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution.
• Perform advanced engine, compressor, and pump analytical testing and troubleshooting.
• Lead efforts to develop and implement changes based on analytical testing.
• Develop, implement, and maintain facility grounding systems.
• Perform general upkeep, maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping duties of all facilities and equipment as needed.
• Adhere to Company standards, procedures, regulatory, and tariff requirements in all work.
• Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
• Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork.
• Oversee the construction, maintenance, and/or work activities performed by third parties.
• Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence.
• Interact professionally with a wide variety of people.

• Maintain a regular and dependable attendance record.

• Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical field or a related discipline.

• Understand and operate electronic test instruments.
• Excellent record of safe work practices.
• Working knowledge of preparing drawings of electrical circuits.
• Reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
• Applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
• Estimate installation, operating and maintenance expenses associated with electrical and control systems.
• Complete work assignments with minimal supervision in an acceptable time frame.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 365, Teams).

• May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.

• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision in an acceptable time frame.
