Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Turnersville, NJ | Labor & Delivery

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) | One summer holiday, one winter eve, and one winter night will be assigned based on need

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with a 1:2 patient ratio across a 7-room unit averaging approximately 3–4 patients daily
• Perform scrub and circulate roles for C-sections
• Utilize fetal monitoring skills and support high-risk deliveries, vaginal deliveries, C-section recovery, neonatal resuscitation, and postpartum care
• Float within scope as needed to Mother/Baby, serve as baby catcher, and support the nursery
• Document and chart using Epic

• Active New Jersey RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Ability to scrub and circulate C-sections
• Experience with fetal monitoring, high-risk deliveries, vaginal deliveries, C-section recovery, neonatal resuscitation, and postpartum care
• Local candidates are welcome; a local rate differential applies

• AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

• Scrubs are provided, reducing out-of-pocket expenses for travelers
• Up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests may be accommodated per contract, offering some scheduling flexibility
