Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Compensation: $20–$23 per hour (commensurate with experience and education)

As an Assistant Teacher, you play a vital role in bringing this vision to life—helping little ones discover their potential while supporting families and building community.
Role OverviewAs an Assistant Teacher, you are more than a classroom helper—you are a co-creator of joyful learning experiences. Working closely with the Lead Teacher, you’ll bring energy, patience, and heart to every moment of the day. From circle time and story hour to outdoor play and mealtimes, you’ll be a steady presence for children, guiding them through routines, cheering on their milestones, and supporting their social‑emotional development.

Always prioritize the health, safety, and happiness of each child, ensuring state ratios and licensing standards are met. - Engage with purpose

Support age‑appropriate curriculum and activities that spark curiosity, imagination, and joy. - Be a team player

Partner with teachers and staff to set up daily activities, guide routines (meals, naps, play), and provide coverage for colleagues when needed. - Foster community
:
Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and teammates. - Create a thriving environment
:
Keep classrooms clean, organized, and welcoming so children feel comfortable and ready to learn. - Grow continuously
:
Stay current on early childhood best practices and complete ongoing training and certifications.
- Associate’s Degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, Psychology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience working with children in a group setting
- 30 hours of STARS training
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience working with children
- Ability to complete required training and pass a background check
