Overview
Trueline’s client, a growing regional precast concrete contractor headquartered in Central Washington, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. This hands-on role leads projects from estimate through completion and customer delivery, with a strong focus on precast concrete and overall job management.
What You’ll Do as the Project Manager- Lead and manage precast concrete projects from bid/estimate stage through to completion and customer handoff
- Prepare detailed project estimates and bid proposals, including takeoffs, budgets, and job costing
- Draft construction documents — contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and purchase orders
- Oversee project scheduling, coordinate timelines, monitor progress, and report status to internal management, clients, and ownership
- Monitor and report on budget tracking and cost management throughout project lifecycle
- Generate and manage RFIs (requests for information), change orders, and other documentation as needed
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards
- Significant experience in a precast concrete facility or precast construction environment
- Strong knowledge of concrete and precast concrete techniques, processes, and industry standards
- Proven track record of managing construction projects from estimating through delivery
- Skilled in preparing accurate bids, cost estimates, budgets, and job costing analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with project management and estimating software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Timberline, or similar) is a plus
- Solid organizational and communication skills, with ability to coordinate across internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, handle documentation (contracts, orders, budget reports), and ensure timely delivery
- Experience with project scheduling software or tools beyond basic MS Office
- Previous exposure to subcontractor management or vendor coordination
- Familiarity with quality control processes, precast manufacturing workflows, or plant operations
- Prior history of working with diverse stakeholders (owners, clients, subcontractors) in precast or heavy civil construction
