Join AA Asphalting, a leading asphalt and concrete restoration provider in the Pacific Northwest. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Laborer to join our Maltby team.

$25.25 - $31.25 per hour. Up to a $500 hiring bonus.

• Load and unload construction supplies to and from flatbeds manually or with equipment.
• Prepare construction site as needed, including setting up job site with signs, cones, and materials; break down site at end of job.
• Prepare patches to required depth; hand‑dig for locates; operate jackhammer when necessary.
• Operate hand and power tools, roller, backhoe, etc.
• Perform flagging duties as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations and practice preventive safety measures; wear required PPE.

• Measure and line out area for paving jobs.
• Use rakes, shovels, and other tools to dump, shovel, and level asphalt on job sites and from the paver.
• Rake, sweep, roll, and inspect asphalt, repeating as necessary.
• Sweep and clean area in front of the paver.
• Assist screed operator with paver operation as necessary.
• Seal patches as needed.

• Prepare work site for concrete pour using shovels and hand tools; backfill and compact area to level.
• Set concrete forms with correct depth and pitch, assisting lead/foreman.
• Ensure cement mixture is safely handled, properly poured, and finished free of cracks, with help of lead/foreman.
• Smooth and finish freshly poured cement or concrete with floats, trowels, screeds, or powered finishing tools.
• Remove and clean forms, boards, and stakes after job completion; clean tools and remove debris.
• Clean and maintain tools, trucks, and equipment.
