Dental Hygienist - Leavenworth Dental

Overview

Leavenworth Dental is seeking a talented and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join their team of oral healthcare professionals. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and preventative care while delivering an exceptional patient experience. Currently hiring for full time. The hourly wage range for this position is $45-$55 hr.

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, polish, and debridement.
• Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and screenings.
• Take and record radiographic images.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and home care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, findings, and progress.
• Partner with clinicians to ensure optimal patient care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
• Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Valid and current certifications, licenses, and registrations as mandated by applicable state and federal law
• Experience with dental software and electronic health records
• Compassionate patient centric approach
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times
