This organization is hiring an Accounting Manager to take ownership of day-to-day accounting and financial reporting in a stable, mission-driven nonprofit environment. This is a hands‑on individual‑contributor role, and it’s best suited for someone who enjoys owning the numbers from start to finish.

• Manage full‑cycle accounting, including month‑end close, accruals, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements for leadership and board reporting
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
• Record payroll journal entries and maintain related schedules (403(b), accruals, etc.)
• Support grant‑related financial reporting and budget tracking (training provided)
• Prepare audit schedules and support annual audit and tax processes
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and consistency

• 5+ years of full‑cycle accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accrual‑based accounting
• Experience using Quick Books (Online preferred)
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end close and reconciliations
• Background in nonprofit or grant‑funded environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Comfortable working independently and owning deliverables
